I was very hesitant to try culottes because I'm so short (5'0"), and I didn't think they would look good on me. Then the other day while I was doing a little shopping at Nordstrom, the department manager showed them to me and proposed I "just try them!". Well, to my surprise, I ended up really liking them! Granted, I had to cut about three inches off (they originally had a raw hem). Then, I just threw them in the washer/dryer and they ended up with this cool little fray at the bottom. And, I did it myself- No professional alterations required!
I'm sure you're all aware that culottes, wide-legs, and flares are really trending right now. I'm usually not one to jump on a trend just because it's trending. I have to make sure I really like the item and, most importantly, that I feel comfortable and completely myself in it when I style it. These culottes are definitely a trend that I am happy to get on board with!
