Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful, relaxing, long weekend. My husband and I spent some quality time together on Saturday and then had an impromptu Sunday Funday with friends. Love when that happens. So, back to Saturday.
We went to the Design District to grab some lunch and ended up at one of our favorite spots (we have a lot of favorites, as you will see as you continue visiting the blog), Harry's Pizzeria. Hadn't been there in a while and the food was just as good as we remembered.
We had the homemade organic ricotta as an appetizer or snack, as they call it and followed it up with the slow roasted pork pizza. The pizza has fig, grilled onions, fontina cheese, and arugula on it. We always ask for a side of balsamic vinegar with it to drizzle on top. So good! They have a small but decent selection of wines that you can have by the glass, carafe (roughly 2-3 glasses depending on your pours), or a bottle. We had a carafe of the Montepulciano d'Abbruzzo which never disappoints.
After all this food, we walked around the shops and snapped some pics.
